Welcome to my author website. My pen name is Matt Johnstone. This website is currently under reconstruction, so please be patient while the changes are being incorporated. By using the buttons on the left side of any page, you can review my current published novel list, link to my current publisher or jump to Amazon.com or Barnes & Noble for book reviews and purchases. This website also allows visitors to read some of my customer reviews as well as my work in progress. You can also peruse a short synopsis of each novel or download chapter samples when available. Brief Author Biography
I grew up in Sierra Madre, a small mountain town in Southern California. Both my mother and grandmother were published children’s storytellers. I caught the writing bug early in life and dabbled at writing fiction by the age of 13. After serving in the US Navy, I continued writing, throughout my career in software engineering. My first novel was published in February 2007. Since that time, I completed my first young readers novel, entitled Dragon Tails - The Three Sisters. I am a current member of The Society of Children’s Book Writers & Illustrators (SCBWI) and an active member of the Hamilton County Writers Group. I live in Noblesville, Indiana, where I am working on the second in the Dragon Tales series, entitled The Dark Wizard.
