Brief Author Biography

I grew up in Sierra Madre, a small and charmiing mountain town in Southern California. Both my mother and grandmother were published children’s storytellers. I caught the writing bug early in life and dabbled at writing fiction by the age of 13. After serving in the US Navy, I continued writing [technical material] throughout my career in software development. However, my love of writing and my passion for coaching youth sports, centered around children, not technical genre. When I retired in 2002, I followed my dream and started my second career writing fiction. My first book published in February 2007. My second novel released November 23rd 2009. I am a current member of The Society of Children’s Book Writers & Illustrators (SCBWI) and an active member of the Noblesville Writers Group. I live in Noblesville, Indiana, where I am working on my third novel entitled The Dark Wizard.
